Steam does not do the special prices during a certain day or certain hours during the sale anymore. Will the game still be $30 till January 4th? I'm still not sure if the new steam sales means that the discounts will be same till end of sale even it shows up on daily highlights. There's enough information and backstory in the game to bring most players up to speed without having read any of the books or short stories or having played the first two games.
